Kinda bored.  Yeah....

Was laying in bed, trying to go to sleep after doing about 7 or 8 hours of warcraft (lost track of the time of day) and I saw a commercial for a text flirt dating service thing.  Yeah....it showed a bunch of girls (except for a few.  :^/) that were pretty hot and they were texting on their cells.  But, I found this commercial funny considering one of the girls was texting.....on a HOUSE PHONE.

....Now, I am not sure how that WOULD work, but I figure it wouldn't and if you could text on house phones, I doubt these girls could figure it out.

Anyhoo, back to laying down,  watching Comedy Central, and trying to go to sleep.

WoW

Well, finally broke down and got WoW.  Downloaded the 10-day trial and actually got REALLY into it.  Bought it a few hours ago.  WOULD tell you how cool it is having the FULL version, but I am still downloading patches, THEN I have to install the expansion, Burning Crusade.

God.......I want to shoot somebody.  O.X

New Zune

Yeah.  I got my Zune in the mail on Monday and I am so happy.  :^D

It's used, but you couldn't tell it was.  It looks brand new.  The only thing that was odd was the music the last guy left on it.  He (or she since Jesse could be a girl too...>_>) left some song from AFI and Big & Rich on there.  .......Yeah.  Not a HUGE fan of either, especially country, so I just cleared them off.  Anyhoo, here are a few pics of me Zune:

The last pic was my Zune sitting in the box it came in.  I cut the bottom a bit so I could sit it in there and charge instead of just sitting on my desk.  Being as careless as I am, I ended up cutting my finger a little, but eh, it happens.  Still stings though.  :^/

Anyway, a new comic went up on the Lego Life site earlier today.  Hope its good.  >_>

Finally...

Well, I am finally getting in a better mood after having to re-rip every cd I have in an unprotected mp3 format.  o.x

Anyway, after a day or so playing with the Zune software, I am really liking it.  And to really test the compatibility, I pre-ordered Coldplay's new album, thus downloading the title track and getting the whole cd when it get released in June.  I was happy to see that the Zune software picked it up and added it without me doing anything.  Now, all I need is to get my Zune in the mail.  o.o

I am going to have to re-rip most of the Red Hot Chili Peppers CD's though since most (more like all) of them are owned by a friend of mine.

Yeah.  I hate you WMA format!!

Really pissed I am.

Yeah.  Ordered a Zune off Amazon since I have been needing a good mp3 player for a while.  Downloaded the software since it will still be a few days until I get the Zune in the mail.  Found out ALL my .wma music files, for some reason, would not work with the software.  Tried to convert them.  A setting set when I got this laptop made it where they can't be converted.

.......The solution?  RE-RIP EVERY CD I HAVE!!!

I know that is not a whole lot compared to others, but since all the red hot chili peppers cds were not mine, that right there is about 7, 8, or 9 cds I have to track down a friend for.  I will just live without them for now.

What I am going to do is re-rip everything I can to mp3 format, delete the same files that are in WMA form, then rebuild from there.  Good thing I am off tomorrow.

Sorry I missed a post yesterday.  Wasn't really home until late last night and then I didn't really think about it.  :^/

Anyway, not much to say today.  Dr. mario came out on WiiWare, but I am waiting until Wednesday to download it.  Comic #6 went up on Lego Life.  And I am trying to get a story line made up for my other webcomic, Tales of Guy.

Besides that, nothing else today.  I will just put up some random pics from my camera then.  :^D

Not home today. Went to work earlier, then straight to my sister's house, so I don't have any pictures or videos to update with since I left my camera at home. So....yeah. I will find something to post when I get home later. YAY!

Missed Friday's Post

Didn't do much today.  Worked a little late, then hung out with Leslie and Patrick.  All I have is some pics of LEGOS I did for no reason in their home.

And just because I did something video-related, I am going to try and upload it.  If it works, I will start doing videos also just for fun.  :^D

EDIT: It seemed to work great.  YAY!  And since Blogger is on pacific time (I am guessing since it is two hours behind where I am, Central), this is TECHNICALLY the post for Friday!  YAY!!!!

A Boring Day Off

Today was kinda boring.  Was off of work today, was going to go to a friend's house to go swimming and stuff, but no go.  Oh well.  I did get a few new LEGO's today.

The new sets I received in the mail today were two small LEGO Castle sets.  Mainly, I am just working on getting more of the mini figures than anything right now.  Below is a picture of a random set up I did involving some of the Castle stuff.

Anyway, I finished Comic #6 for my webcomic yesterday.  A link is provided on the right sidebar thing there.  I used Photoshop Elements 6.0 in place of my now expired Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 and I have to say I like it A LOT better.  Out of boredom, I went ahead and did pictures for Comic #7.1.  I am going to put it together in comic form in the next day or so, then take pics for 7.2.  Below is a pic from #7.1:

Boring Day

Haven't done anything "Lego-y" today.  Played Mario Kart Wii and kept getting disconnected.

Anyhoo....I am downloading Photoshop Elements 6 to try and see if it is a worthy replacemnt for Paint Shop Pro Photo X2.  The reviews I saw seemed to be positive, so, I hope it is good.  :^>

I should be getting my two new Lego sets from Lego.com in the mail soon.  I got some Castle mini figures with swords and such.  Yay.  lol  I am really trying to just get a vast collection of different legs, torsos, heads, etc., so I have plenty of options for the webcomic.

Well, I am playing Mario Kart Wii right now.  So, I am going to stop typing for now.  Peace.  :^D

Procrastination

Haven't done much with Legos today.  Need to finish comic 6, which I will do in a while, before the trial version of Paint Shop Pro runs out.

I did beat LostWinds though.  I have seen people saying that LostWinds was about 3 or 4 hours of gameplay.  I felt a little shorthanded when I beat the giant rock thing and beat the game in about 2 hours.  o.o

Anyway.....I am trying to find something to spend my remaining 800 Wii points on.  I may just wait and see the WiiWare that will be released next week.  I am hoping for Dr. Mario and Pokemon Ranch.  :^D

Well, I guess I will try and finish Comic 6.  Woo!

My Lego Blog

This is a blog with random news about stuff I do with Legos.  I do a webcomic called Lego Life on SmackJeeves.  Right now, the program I used for the webcomic, Paint Shop Pro Photo X2, is on it's last trial day.  I will probably end up buying it, but until then, I won't do comics.  I am going to do about 2 or 3 tomorrow night so I can update for the next week or two.  That will give me time to buy the program.

Anyway, I will probably update this daily with random pictures involving Legos.  I will also update when I get a new set.  Yes.....I am a geek.  o.o
